This is the original cabin of the old Riverside Resort. The original part of the cabin is nearly 100 years old and was added on to in the 50's. The old logs are still in tact and make for a very rustic feel. This place is perfect for a couple, or a small to medium family. There is a queen in the bedroom and two futons in the living room, with plenty of room to move around. Cabin can easily accommodate 4 adults.
The outside of the cabin has been restored in fall 2017 and the picture on this site does not reflect that as of yet. The inside is very old, very clean, has all of the amenities and has tons of character that is rare in these times. I can guarantee that if you enjoy the feel of an old cabin and want to stay somewhere that exemplifies the UP at a reasonable price, this is your place.
This cabin features a log interior, a queen pillow top bed in the master bedroom, a full size and half size futons in the living room for additional sleeping. There is an all new large bathroom w/ 36" shower stall. Cottage has a full size kitchen, A/C, WiFi, 40" HDTV with streaming service. Visit my FAQ page for more information
